After spending fifteen years as an equities analyst on Wall Street, covering oil stocks and earning that profession's top honors, Mary left Wall Street to spend more time on her own life. In talking with friends and people she met as she explored new opportunities, she found out rather quickly that people, often very smart and competent people, were either afraid of managing their own money, or managed it quite badly.
The psychology of investing and the influence of behavioral economics on investment decisions has always fascinated me, so I decided to put my experience and market knowledge to work helping individual investors manage their money. Interestingly, despite my 15 years as an active stock picker in the professional money management realm, I turned to index investing for the solutions to portfolio management for my clients. Passive index investing eliminates the emotion driven actions that so often deplete or depress investment returns. I am a 100% convert.

When Mary is not helping her clients, you will find her kayaking off Nassau Point on Long Island’s North Fork with EleEle, her beautiful black Lab.
